It's starting to feel alot like Christmas .....

Hello,

If you've found me via Jo's Blog then welcome.

It's been too long since I was here so I thought as we had our Christmas Workshop on Saturday I would post some of the photos of our projects.  We welcomed two new ladies which is always lovely and we put them through their paces.

The Stampin' Up wood stamp storage boxes are not only fabulous for transferring your wooden stamps to making storage far easier, but they also make great cases for putting together a gift box of cards/stationery or in our case, Christmas cards and tags.

We used the Seasons of Style DSP to slot into the box cover and made a cute pen holder inside the box.

Once the box was covered and the pen in situ, we started on the gift tags

Wreath Tag

Rudolph

Santa's Belly Tag and Naughty or Nice

Mosaic Tag ....with glitter

I like to call this one Happy Santa!  You can't see very clearly, but his beard has a bit of frost courtesy of Dazzlin' Diamonds

Glitter Reindeer

After lunch of bolognese and jacket potatoes, we moved onto Christmas cards.....and warm mince pies & cream....

Lovely as a Tree Stamp set with a touch of sparkle on the trees

2012 Snowflake die still gives such crisp results

Postcard Stamp....there are so many styles and occasions this stamp works for.  One of my favourites.

Try as I might, I cannot upload the last card we made....it's been a week of technical challenges!

I had also made table gifts for our guests - chocolate Santa Bellies!  These are such fun to make and are a great idea for holding money when giving it as a gift.

On our display table, we had a small Christmas tree and one of the ornaments was a gorgeous pinecone that I had made from following a tutorial.  Once I had got the hang of what I was doing, I found them quite quick to make.  I added a bit of dazzlin' diamonds for the obligatory Christmas sparkle and was really impressed with the finish.  I did the top differently to the tutorial instructions as I didn't have any green seam binding but was really pleased with the result.  If you wish to purchase the tutorial please go to

Sadly, that was our last Workshop for 2013.  Tena and I are arranging dates for 2014 which will be posted shortly.  If you'd like to be added to the mailing list for Workshop dates, please drop me an email at wightman82@googlemail.com.  We would love you to join us and share what we love doing the most.

Wishing you a good week.
